Why Pool and Seawater are a Challenge

• Chlorine in the pool: attacks fine rhodium or gold platings ➜ the metal setting tarnishes, crystals appear dull.

• Salt in the sea: removes moisture and promotes micro-corrosion ➜ dull surface, hairline cracks.

• Heat + chemicals: dissolve adhesives ➜ stones can loosen.
